Powerless Balc Once a powerful man becomes powerless after refusing to pay Energy Giant Alliant Energy $747.00 to install new meter pole when BENCO electric will install a meter pole for free when. BENCO is slated to take over Elmore, Minnesota from Alliant Energy in 2014. After refusing to replace the meter pole Alliant Energy disconnected the power on 9/24/2013 leaving Jeff "Balc" Balcom powerless until the Benco is the official supplier power.
